What hours are you open?
 The store's opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9.30am to 5.00pm and Sunday closed.
 Do you send out Peter’s of Kensington catalogues?
 No, we do not send out a catalogue, however you can subscribe to receive our online newsletter via email that brings you news on our latest promotions and new product.
 Are there Peter’s of Kensington Gift Vouchers?
 You can purchase Peter’s of Kensington Gift Vouchers in store in any nomination you require or via the phone on (02) 9662 1099 or from outside Australia +61 2 9662 1099. Please note that Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed online.
 Do you offer Lay Bys?
 No, Peter’s of Kensington does not offer Lay Bys.
 How do I get to your store from the city?
 Located at 57 Anzac Parade Kensington, we are easy to reach from the city.
By Bus: From Eddy Avenue, Central Station catch bus numbers 393 and 395. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes. From Elizabeth Street near Hyde Park catch bus numbers 390,391,392,394,396,397,398 and 399. Travel time is approximately 10-15 minutes.
By Car: If travelling by car, the new Eastern Distributor has made it easier to find us, just take the Randwick exit onto Anzac Parade and follow the signs to Kensington. We are located between the major intersections of Alison Road and Todman Avenue. You can't miss us - when heading away from the city on Anzac Parade, we're the big pink store on the right!
 Do you offer gift wrapping?
 Yes, we offer complimentary gift wrapping in store and online for individual items $20 and over, all year round except during our January and mid-year sales.

Why should I become a member of Peter’s of Kensington’s website?
 Peter's of Kensington has a Membership program, which is free to join. Unlike many other sites, a customer is not required to become a member in order to purchase from our website. We collect and store customer membership information for the following reasons:
- To ease the process of ordering. Keeping your information on record means you will not be required to re-enter this information next time you shop, although you will be able to update it. We do not keep credit card details.
- To personalise and customise your shopping experience. Information volunteered via our free membership program allows us to offer a wish list facility, to track your order history, and to track your current order status. We also collect information on areas of interests, to be used in planned email newsletters tailored to your interests.
If a non-member customer makes a purchase via our mail order service or the website, their details are only recorded on their individual order.
 How do I make a purchase via the Peter’s of Kensington website?
 Whether just window-shopping or looking for something in particular, we have made browsing, searching and selecting items hassle free for our customers.
A search over all departments is possible using the front of store Shopping Assistant located on the bottom left hand side of the homepage. Once you've found something you think you might want to purchase, just click 'add to bag'. Your shopping bag will stay with you while browsing our store, displaying the content and a running total while you shop.
Can I only order via the Internet?
 Peter's Mail Order staff can help you with any pre-purchase enquires you may have, as well as take an order and arrange payment by credit card or cheque if you prefer. Mail Order staff can be contacted by:

Does Peter’s of Kensington deliver orders outside of Australia?
 No, orders can only be delivered within Australia. You can order from outside of Australia as long as your order is being delivered within Australia.
 Are all the items in the store also available online?
 Not all items in the store are online. However our website is updated daily and we do have a large range of the most popular products, latest items and all recently advertised sale items.
 How do I subscribe or unsubscribe from email updates?
 Simply enter your email address and click subscribe or unsubscribe on our newsletter page
 Will I get an order confirmation?
 For every order you submit online at Peter’s of Kensington, you will receive an email order confirmation. Please be sure to enter your email address correctly to ensure that you receive your order confirmation. We recommend that you keep a printout of this confirmation for your records. You will also receive a second email once your order has been dispatched.
 What happens if I am not home to receive my delivery?
 If you are not home to receive your delivery, a card will be placed in you mail box advising you to collect your parcel from your local post office.
  What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?
 We accept Visa, Bankcard, Diners, JCB, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.
 What is Peter’s of Kensington’s online return policy?
 Peter's of Kensington replaces any goods that arrive at their destination faulty or damaged (if damaged, you must notify Peter's of Kensington within 48 hours of receiving the goods). Under these circumstances, Peter's will refund return delivery costs for those goods returned. See below for instructions on how to return goods in an appropriate manner.
Peter's will replace any undamaged item within 30 days of purchase as long as the product is returned in its original condition including its packaging. Delivery and handling charges on returns are not refundable for incorrect choice, and are to be returned to the store at the customer's cost and risk.
In order to process your return of goods, please be sure to include the following information:
- Copy of the packing slip and receipt, including the order number.
- The reason for the return.
- Your day time phone number.
A staff member will be required to contact you to arrange a refund if the store is unable to replace or exchange the goods returned. We can process a refund by re-imbursing your credit card, or by posting a cheque.

 Shipping Information
How are your products delivered?
 Your parcel will be delivered by Australia Post’s parcel service during normal business hours. Upon delivery the goods must be signed for, if there is no one at the location at the time of delivery the parcel will be taken to your local post office for you to collect and a card will be left advising you of this.
 What are Peter’s of Kensington’s shipping charges?
 Our delivery and packaging charges are calculated on your location in relation to Sydney, as well as the average weight of your total order. Prior to checking out you will be advised of the exact cost of delivery.
 Security Information
How safe is it to shop online?
 Shopping online with Peters of Kensington is as safe as shopping in an actual store. This site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the latest industry standard encryption, to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your credit card information under our control. In the same way department stores use EFTPOS terminals to process credit card transactions, Peter's uses Westpac's secure payments system to process credit card payments via the EFTPOS system.
Once Peter's has processed a transaction against a credit card number, we do not store the card number, even against your order. That's why when processing refunds we need to contact you by phone in order to obtain your card details again.
 What is your privacy and security policy?
 In order to fulfil an order you may place via our website, it is necessary for us to collect certain information from you. The type of customer information we ask for includes name and address for billing and delivery purposes, day phone number, email address, and product preferences.
Peter's of Kensington takes seriously the issue of our customer's privacy, and has taken the appropriate measures to ensure with confidence that any information given to us by our customers is protected. We recognise the sensitivity of your personal information and will never share your details with any other organisation.
