Cooking meat is pretty easy! You only really have to look after the temperature! Just grab a thermometer, whack it in the hunk of meat for a few seconds, before taking it out and look at the temperature. (It's probably best to close the oven door behind you.) It would need to be a special thermometer of course, designed to sit in the thickest part of the meat.
Here's one now! It even has a sheath with a labelled guide of recommended internal meat temperature levels!
