Welcome to the weird, wild and wide world of Areaware.
We say “wide” because Areaware make so many fascinating objects, we’re
not sure which category to place them in. This New York-based studio of
design aims to make your home objects as unusual as possible, while
still retaining their useful factor – and get a laugh or jolt of
surprise from you along the way.
It looks like something Rambo might carry around – or something you’d find in a shed in outback Australia. But in fact, it’s far more functional (not to mention safer) than both those options may suggest.
The Nail Bottle Opener is rustic in its simplicity, and harnesses a magnet you’ll find indispensable: one magnet catches and holds on to the bottle cap, while the other allows the bottle opener to be stuck to the fridge. And of course, the nail helps to prey the cap free. See? Simple.
Nail Bottle Opener features:
- Designed in the USA.
- Made from beechwood and metal.
- One magnet catches the bottle opener to the bottle cap; the other allows it to be attached to the fridge.
- Presented in an Areaware box.
