How's your roast? Relying on those old trays still? Just putting them in the oven and hoping for an even cooking rate? That's a shame.
If you had some sort of rack to raise it off the base of a tray, you'd be able to cook all sides of your roast evenly. You'd make sure it was in a curved shape for added support, and it would have to have a grid formation to let the heat in, and you wouldn't want the meat or skin to stick to the surface otherwise the whole meal is ruined... It would just look more professional than that old metal hand-me-down.
