“Thirty-two! Buckle my shoe!”
“Number five! Man alive!”
“Number three! You and me!”
This bizarre language can only come from Bingo! No longer confined to retirement villages and cruise ships, Bingo has had a little bit of resurgence of late. And now, thanks to Heritage games, your family can enjoy a classic 1950’s version of this game. What will be the main prize? A car? A meat tray? A break from washing up?
If you’ve never played Bingo before, it’s simple. Every player is given a card with the numbers one to ninety on it, and a person is chosen to be the “caller”. The caller begins to take the numbered pieces from the box and calls out the number shown (feel free to add in your Bingo lingo here), before placing it on to the checking chart. If this number appears on your card, cover it with one of the small squares provided.
The first player to cover all the numbers on their card wins the meat tray (or whatever the prize is…)
