Within the English crown of famous potteries – particularly those from the historic English Stoke-On-Trent area – few jewels shine quite as brightly as Royal Doulton’s.
The name bears a pedigree that can be traced back to 1815, when a Mister John Doulton invested his life savings in a partnership to purchase a stoneware factory in Lambeth. However, it was not until 1901 that the Doulton name received its royal warrant, and was able to take the title Royal Doulton – the sort of dinnerware beloved by even the British monarchy.
When you sit down at a table set with Royal Doulton dinnerware, you’re sitting down to a special affair indeed. And when you sit down with the Fable collection, you’ll find your imagination truly captured. Fable tells the fantastic tale of a stunning voyage…from entrée to dessert.
Designed by Karolin Schnoor in London, this playful collection is modern and stylish, bearing fruit trees and birds that could have emerged from the pages of a storybook. Crafted from quality porcelain, Fable is splashed with shades of blue, red and greys, for a collection that you can mix and match or coordinate – whatever your imagination calls for.
