Within the English crown of famous potteries – particularly those from the historic English Stoke-On-Trent area – few jewels shine quite as brightly as Royal Doulton’s.
The name bears a pedigree that can be traced back to 1815, when a Mister John Doulton invested his life savings in a partnership to purchase a stoneware factory in Lambeth. However, it was not until 1901 that the Doulton name received its royal warrant, and was able to take the title Royal Doulton – the sort of dinnerware beloved by even the British monarchy.
And now, Royal Doulton has teamed up with the multi-disciplinary designers from HemingwayDesign to create a collection of homewares that focuses on improving the things that matter in life. With a bright colour palette, geometric patterns, and an aesthetic that is inspired by mid-century design, this stunning range builds on HemingwayDesign's roots in fashion and interior design to offer contemporary accessories for both decoration, and everyday use.
Each piece in the HemingwayDesign collection is beautifully crafted from ceramic and is ideal for any modern home, or as a gift for someone special. The collection features striking tealight candle holders, statement vases in a variety of shapes and pastel colours and more - all embossed with distinctive textures to give them a hand-crafted feel.
Introduce these pieces into your living space, and rest assured, they will find a place on your mantelpiece or dining table for years to come.
