What does an officers’ mess and an Australian condiment company have in common?
A love of food, by George! The Regimental Condiment Company (or TRCC for
short) produces a wide range of gourmet food products – including
mustards, spreads and horseradish – originating from the glory days of
the Officers' Mess, inspired by the foods and flavours of days gone by.
TRCC make these products to recipes that have been passed down through
the generations, with the result being military-styled foodstuffs with
no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in sight.
This Seeded Mustard is named for one of the most successful war-time aircraft ever: the Avro Lancaster. One of the finest British bombers of World War II, to fly and crew one of these planes was not for the faint of heart: it was uncomfortable and dangerous. Its namesake mustard would have been an integral part of any officers’ mess dinner or lunch.
Lancaster Seeded Mustard features:
- Product of France.
- Perfect with roast meats, sausages, on sandwiches, and more.
