1748: in Audun-le-Tiche – a small village in Lorraine, France – a factory is
established for fine porcelain production, and Villeroy and Boch is
born at the hands of a Mister François Boch and his three sons.
Renowned for their fine quality, beautiful designs and exquisite
porcelain, Villeroy and Boch have thrived through the ages, taking
themselves from France to Luxembourg to master their skills. From the
advent of industrialisation to the modern German Innovation Awards,
their principles have not shifted – they set out to produce great
tableware, and they still do just that.
Villeroy and Boch’s cutlery collections follow the same characteristics
as their glass- and dinnerware; that being a high standard of quality,
the use of only the finest materials during the manufacturing process,
and creative, emotive design.
For classic cutlery design, look no further than the Notting Hill pattern. Straight, bold lines in 18/10 stainless steel complement solid craftsmanship, for a contemporary look and feel to these dining utensils.
