1748: in Audun-le-Tiche – a small village in Lorraine, France – a factory is
established for fine porcelain production, and Villeroy and Boch is
born at the hands of a Mister François Boch and his three sons.
Renowned for their fine quality, beautiful designs and exquisite
porcelain, Villeroy and Boch have thrived through the ages, taking
themselves from France to Luxembourg to master their skills. From the
advent of industrialisation to the modern German Innovation Awards,
their principles have not shifted – they set out to produce great
tableware, and they still do just that.
Now, Villeroy and Boch have excelled themselves yet
again with the beauty and simplicity of the Numa collection.
These softly rounded vases have been mouth-blown from four layers of
lead- free crystal, creating chic, understated pieces that resonate with
cool elegance. The minimalist design fits seamlessly into a house
adorned with either contemporary or classic decor, and complements all
manner of vibrant flowers, letting their natural beauty shine through.
