Boos

In 1887, blacksmith Conrad Boos used wood harvested from local sycamore trees to create a tree-shaped stand to act as a bench in his forge. When the local butcher immediately wanted a work surface of his own, Conrad and his son, John crafted the first Boos butcher’s block.

More than 125 years later, Boos wooden cutting boards and butcher’s blocks are recognised as some of the best around. Still a proudly American company, Boos makes boards that are easy to care for and crafted to last.

You’ll find Boos chopping boards and butcher’s blocks in many of the best kitchens in the world. Now, yours can be one of them.
