Congratulations, Jimmy!

One of our most valued employees is celebrating a milestone! For the past 26 years, Jimmy Stavrianos has worked in the Peter’s of Kensington Homewares department every Saturday. During the week, when Jimmy’s not at Peter’s, he works at the NRL.

This year, Jimmy’s celebrating his 25th year at the NRL, officially making him their longest-serving employee. His contribution to the NRL community was celebrated last week with a special presentation at the SCG, and also featured on last week’s Footy Show, where Todd Greenberg, CEO of the NRL, described Jimmy as “the heart and soul of the Rugby League community”. Greenberg continued –

“He’s outlived, I think, seven previous CEOs and he’ll get past me, that’s for sure, but he’s a very special person, and today we’ve honoured him.”
