Peter’s Friday Favourites

There are so many amazing perks to working in the Peter’s of Kensington web department. One is being the first people in the store to take a look at all our latest arrivals. Another is the honour of choosing five new products every week to feature in our Friday Favourites post! It’s a chance for us to ramble a little about the things we love…and we know you’ll love, too!

In this week’s edition of Friday Favourites, we’ve got everything from towels to toasters. Let’s get started…

Lalay Beach TowelLalay Mint and Melon Beach Towel

We know – it’s still freezing outside. But despite the weather, summer’s on our minds already…and with this beach towel from Lalay at the ready, you’ll be eager for the weather to heat up too! This generously-sized towel is made in Turkey from soft Turkish cotton. It’s easy to care for…in fact, your Lalay Beach Towel will get softer and softer with every wash. But what we love most about this luxurious towel are its fringed ends and appealing pastel colour scheme. Is it summer yet? What about now…?

Ecoya Sweet Papaya and Melon Reed DiffuserEcoya Sweet Papaya and Melon Reed Diffuser

We’re huge fans of Australian brand, Ecoya. Ecoya’s range of candles, aroma diffusers, skincare and more is pure indulgence for those of us who can’t resist surrounding ourselves with heavenly fragrances…like Ecoya’s new Sweet Papaya and Melon collection, for instance. It’s a zesty, fresh blend of tropical papaya, watermelon, gardenia, jasmine and more that will have you feeling like you’re on holiday, all year round.

LOQI Geometric BackpackLOQI Geometric Backpack

Some backpacks have everything – pockets upon pockets, zippers, compartments galore…but LOQI’s Geometric Backpack isn’t your average backpack. For starters, it’s much simpler. There’s one compartment for all your things, and it closes with a straightforward drawstring. It’s also machine washable. The Geometric Backpack also folds down when it’s not in use, so you can take it everywhere you go, just in case it comes in handy. And finally, it’s way more stylish than your average backpack, with a cool, retro-inspired patter of colourful dots. If only more backpacks were this good looking…

Delsey Helium Air 2 Spinner CaseDelsey Helium Air 2 Spinner Case

Delsey’s latest collection of luggage is named after an element that’s even lighter than oxygen. Helium Air 2 isn’t quite as light as helium…but it’s still very, very light luggage. It’s designed in France and loaded with smart features, including four spinner wheels underneath that let you push or pull your luggage in any direction you like, as well as an inbuilt combination lock. But what we love most about Helium Air 2 is its stunning dip dyed-effect finish. This is luggage that’s not afraid to stand out from the crowd.

Smeg Retro Style ToasterSmeg Retro Style Toaster

We’re absolute suckers for all things retro here at Peter’s, so when Smeg’s stunning range of retro-inspired appliances arrived, it was pretty much love at first sight. Designed in Italy by architects Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti, the range includes kettles, blenders, stand mixers – and toasters, like this one, in calm pastel green. It’s loaded with smart features, and it’ll make breakfast your favourite meal of the day. We’re obsessed. Take a look at our full range of Smeg appliances right here.

Enjoyed our Friday Favourites? Great! We’ll have more for you next Friday! Next week on the Peter’s blog, we’ll have Part Two of our Father’s Day Gift Guide ready for you (here’s part one!) and we’re taking a close look at another of our all-time favourite ranges…in fact, you could say it’s a Classic. See you next week!
