Peter’s Friday Favourites – the Big Brands edition!

Like everyone else, we love Fridays here at Peter’s – but not because it’s the last working day of the week. We love working at Australia’s best department store!

The reason we love Fridays so much is because it’s the day we announce our Friday Favourites. They’re the five new products that we think are so cool, we can’t help but share them with you. Of the hundreds of new things we put on the web every week, these are the products that have impressed us the most.

This week, we’re welcoming five new products from some of our biggest brands, so we thought a special edition of Friday Favourites was in order! Here’s what we can’t stop talking about this week…

KitchenAid Pro Line Kettle

KitchenAid’s new Pro Line collection arrived at Peter’s this week, and we’re utterly obsessed. Of course, the whole range is stunning – but if we could choose just one thing for our own kitchen benches, it’d have to be the Pro Line Kettle, in glossy Candy Apple Red. With its irresistible combination of industrial and retro style, this is no ordinary kettle. Its smart double-walled construction retains heat, so if you feel like a second cuppa, it’ll be ready in no time. Then, there’s the sliding temperature selector on the front, which lets you heat up your water to the temperature you’d like. Smart and attractive, this KitchenAid kettle is the real deal.

Bodum Colour Collection Mug Tree

Let’s continue along the coffee and tea train of thought for a little while, shall we? Because also new to Peter’s this week is this colourful set of mugs from Bodum. The mugs are made from glass, with a simple, heat-resistant nylon handle and include their own tree-shaped stand for storage (and showing off on your kitchen bench) when they’re not in use. Ralph Lauren Cove Frame

There’s so much more to the Ralph Lauren name than fashion and fragrances. Our huge range of Ralph Lauren tableware and giftware is not to be missed. With a history going all the way back to 1748, Villeroy and Boch has refined the art of beautiful design. But for their latest range – the Little Gallery collection – V&B tried a different approach, crowdsourcing a selection of charming floral designs. Naturally, we love them all. V&B’s Little Gallery Hurricane Lamps are made from glossy porcelain and look rather lovely during the day. At night, they come into their own. Lift up the top half, light a tealight candle inside and the round lamp will fill your room with glowing candlelight. It’s such a simple idea, but so effective!
