Peter’s (Good) Friday Favourites

Welcome to a very special Good Friday edition of Friday Favourites! If you’re a regular here on the Peter’s blog, you’ll know that every Friday we share five of our favourite new arrivals. Why? Because every week, we get hundreds of new products, and these are the things we really don’t want you to miss out on taking a really good look at. Consider our Friday Favourites the best of the best of the best.

Since it’s the start of the Easter long weekend, how about starting out with eggs? Not chocolate eggs, but duck eggs…

Chasseur Duck Egg Blue French Oven

Chasseur Duck Egg Blue

Isn’t it just beautiful? Duck Egg Blue is one of two new Chasseur colours, and it’s brand spanking new to Peter’s of Kensington. We’re already a little bit obsessed with this relaxing shade of light blue. Available in a range of French Ovens as well as bakeware, mugs, kitchenware and more, Duck Egg Blue has everything you need to give your kitchen a dreamy new look. Also new to Chasseur is the Caviar collection; an elegant, glossy grey. Which reminds us – in just a few weeks, Manu Feildel will be visiting the Peter’s kitchen to officially launch both new colours! Eee!

Villeroy and Boch Floreana

Villeroy and Boch Floreana

Easter has long been a celebration of the northern hemisphere’s spring equinox. We think Villeroy and Boch’s new Floreana dinnerware is a celebration of spring too, in its own way! Floreana is simply charming. Decorated with a pattern of delicate flowers and leaves, and made in Germany from premium porcelain, Floreana brings a little spring to the table, all year round. Choose from soft red or pastel blue…or mix and match both to create something that’s truly your own. Either way, it’s blooming lovely.

Georg Jensen Cafu Vase

Georg Jensen Cafu Vase

Frankly, Danish design makes us go a little weak at the knees, and Georg Jensen is arguably Denmark’s biggest designer name right now, so forgive us for swooning a little. The Cafu collection is new to Georg Jensen and combines deep blue glass with shiny stainless steel – with dramatic results. These vases and bowls are extraordinary on their own, but combine them with other Cafu pieces and that’s when things start to get really interesting. This very special knife block set is designed to mark Global’s 30th anniversary, this futuristic knife block set represents everything we love about Global. Not only does it include five incredibly handy knives – with its space-age good looks, it’s also going to take on a starring role on your kitchen bench! If you love cooking and you haven’t discovered Global yet, it’s about time you found out what all the fuss is about…

Essentially Waterford Double Old Fashioned Set

Essentially Waterford Lisssadel Double Old Fashioned Set

Look, we acknowledge we’ve done a fair bit of cheating in this edition of Friday Favourites so far. We’re meant to be choosing our favourite new arrivals for the week, and so far, our selection has included three entire ranges of products, as opposed to single products. And we’re doing it again! The new Essentially Waterford collection is designed in Ireland and combines modern shapes with traditional Waterford patterns to create crystal drinkware that’s utterly irresistible…and every bit as essential as its name implies! If we had to choose just one favourite from the collection, it’d be the Lissadel Double Old Fashioned Set pictured above, but really, you’ll probably want to take a look at the whole range – click here!

Thanks for reading our Good Friday Favourites. From all of us at Peter’s, have a lovely (and safe!) Easter long weekend. We’ll be back next week to announce our next exciting event – and more. See you then!
