It’s FRIDAY! Time for us to reveal our Friday Favourites!

Every week on the Peter’s Blog, we talk about five of our favourite new products. After all, so many new products are added to our website every week. These are the things we think are way, WAY too good to miss.

For this week’s Junior Edition of Friday Favourites, we’re doing something a little different. We’ve had a huge new delivery of toys, books and more – so all five of our Friday Favourites this week are for kids and babies!

Where to start? Oh – how about with one of our all-time favourite products?

Gerry the Giraffe Trunki

Gerry the Giraffe Trunki

Have you heard about the Trunki kids’ suitcase yet? They’re cute suitcases, designed just for kids. Each Trunki features bright colours, plenty of room inside…oh, and of course FOUR WHEELS, designed so your child can climb aboard and ride their luggage around busy airports! Of course, we’ve been stocking (and raving about) Trunki luggage for years now, but we’ve just received a few cute new designs…including our new friend, Gerry! He mightn’t be as tall as the other giraffes, but he’s just as adorable. Your child will love taking him on adventures! Click here to take a look at our Trunki tribe. You’ll wish they came in adult sizes…

D Lux Toto Baby Blanket

D Lux Toto Patchwork Baby Blanket

There’s so much to love about D Lux’s soft Patchwork Baby Blanket. Firstly, it’s designed here in Australia, and made from soft-as-a-cloud knitted cotton. Secondly, it’s easy to care for. Just pop it in the washing machine when it needs a bath. Thirdly, there’s its neutral colour scheme – though classic pink and blue are also available – and its simple patchwork-inspired design. And finally, it’s beautifully presented in a gift box, which makes it an ideal gift for anyone celebrating a beautiful new arrival. It’s so simple, but so luxurious. Parents will love it. Babies will love it. It’s an all-round win.

From blankets for sleepy newborns to creative toys for excitable older kids! Meccano sets have been around longer than you think. They were first invented all the way back in 1898 and patented in 1901! Introduce a whole new generation to these clever toys. The Meccano Monster Ducati Model Kit is ideal for children aged ten and older, and lets them build their own very cool model Ducati motorbike. Zoom! It’s just the thing to help your child explore their creative side…while having a heap of fun at the same time. Our range of Meccano includes everything from the Eiffel Towel to cool robots that tell jokes – seriously! If you’ve got smart, inquisitive kids to keep entertained, you should take a look.

Brio Classic Train Set

Brio Classic Train Set

Sometimes, it’s the simplest toys that kids love the most. Made in Sweden using wood harvested from responsibly-managed forests, the Brio Classic Train Set is bound to be a hit with kids aged two years and above. There’s so much to do! Place the pieces that make up the train track down in a figure eight shape, then assemble the train and carriages, which click together using magnets. Once the scenery’s set up, it’s time to hit the tracks! There’s cargo to deliver and passengers waiting to get to their destinations!

SkipHop Ladybird UmbrellaSkipHop Zoobrella Ladybird Umbrella

Your child won’t mind having to go outside on rainy days so much with this gorgeous umbrella to keep them company! With a big smiley face, cute black antennae and, of course, black and red dots, this Ladybird Umbrella is irresistibly adorable. And – brace yourself for cute overload – there’s also a matching raincoat available, as well as a whole heap of other adorable Ladybug accessories! And there’s also owls, giraffes, monkeys and so much more. Your heart will melt!
