If you’re looking for delicious snacks, puddings and more to enjoy on Christmas day, or even to give as gifts, you’re in luck. Join us on Friday December 18, Saturday December 19 and Sunday December 20 for three days of delicious, free, Christmas tastings from some of our favourite makers of gourmet food, all at our Kensington store.

Phillippa’s Christmas Tasting

Friday December 18 – from 11.30am

Spread all around Melbourne, Phillippa’s Bakeries are the first choice for bread, cakes and other delicious treats. Especially at Christmas!

This is your chance to sample treats from Melbourne’s most renowned bakery. On Friday December 18, head to Peter’s to try some of Phillippa’s delicious Plum Puddings, Christmas cakes, nuts and more before you tackle your Christmas shopping.

A word to the wise: once you’ve tasted Phillippa’s puddings, you won’t leave empty-handed.

Brookfarm Christmas Tasting

Saturday December 19 – from 11am

Founded in 1999 by Pam and Martin Brook, Brookfarm, in the Byron Bay Hinterlands is Australia’s leading producer of macadamia nuts and oils. All Brookfarm products are GM and preservative-free, sustainably grown among subtropical and eucalyptus trees.

We all know Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a bowl or two of nuts to snack on – and, if you haven’t already tried cooking with macadamia oil, it’s about time you tried. It’s one of the healthiest edible oils in the world.

Curious to find out more? Meet the team from Brookfarm on Saturday December 19 – they’ll have macadamia nuts fresh from the farm for you to try…and maybe even take home with you!

Trentham Tucker Christmas Tasting

Trentham Tucker started as a small country kitchen in Trentham, Victoria, but as their popularity grew, they moved to Richmond, Melbourne to cope with the demand.

That’s not to say Trentham Tucker has abandoned any of the old-fashioned attention to detail that made them such a hit – these days, they still make everything by hand, using the finest quality ingredients and classic recipes.Once you’ve tried Trentham Tucker’s delicious Panforte cake, there’s no going back.
