Every Friday on the Peter’s Blog, we take a closer look at five new products we’ve added to the website this week. We call it Friday Favourites. It’s your chance to take a bit of an insider’s look into some of the new additions to our range that have impressed us so much, we can’t resist letting you know all about them. Here are our selections this week…
We love products that aren’t afraid to stand out for all the right reasons. And this glassware set from European brand, LSA, definitely does that! Our favourite thing about this set is the way each glass in the set is a different shape. They’re heaps of fun and just the thing for serving your coolest summery cocktails.
These four soaps are like taking a holiday in the French countryside, except without all the hassle of packing, spending a day on a plane then trying to negotiate taxi fares in half-forgotten, garbled French. Unlike an actual trip to France, this set of four soaps is utterly relaxing. Just hop in the shower or bath, close your eyes and you’ll feel as if you’re walking through fields of lavender. New to Peter’s, La Savonnerie de Nyons soaps are made in France from the finest ingredients, they’re presented in a vintage-look tin and they’re available in a huge selection of fragrances. What’s not to love?
We’re staying in the bathroom for our next pick. From Australia’s own Sheridan, these new robes are just what you’re looking for to turn your daily shower into a luxurious experience rather than a necessary chore. These robes are made from ultra-fine, soft cotton that’s made to dry quickly, so it’s ready for next time. Plus, their unisex design looks great on everyone, and they’re presented in crisp white Sheridan gift box. They’d make a great Father’s Day gift. Or get one each – there’s nothing quite as luxurious as matching his and hers robes!
Talking of Father’s Day, this bag full of delicious Dolci D’oro chocolates is pretty much the ideal gift for Dads. We’d have mentioned this in our Father’s Day Gift Ideas post the other day, but we were out of stock of these bags at the time. In fact, every year we get these bags in, they just keep running out. With over a kilo of delicious Dolci D’oro chocolates, made right here in Sydney, it’s no wonder. They’re the perfect Father’s Day gift. Be quick!
Our Friday Favourites posts are meant to be for new products, and since the Eileen French Coffee Press has been around since the (glorious) Eighties, this technically isn’t a new product. But Bodum’s designers have given Eileen a little makeover, and she’s more resplendent than ever. Named in honour of Irish designer, Eileen Gray, this bold design is truly timeless. Oh, and it makes great coffee too – though you do run the risk of beginning every morning humming Come on Eileen while you wait for your coffee…but that’s not too bad a way to start the day if you ask us!
Enjoyed this week’s Friday Favourites? Great! We’ll be back with more next Friday – plus there’ll be heaps of other stuff on the Peter’s Blog. But for now, have a great weekend!
