Peter’s Friday Favourites

A great big welcome to Friday Favourites – the weekly post where we take a look at five of our favourite new arrivals for the week.

Today’s is the first Friday Favourites post for spring, and we’re really looking forward to the weather warming up – so much so, in fact, that our first two selections have a decidedly beachy feel about them.

Let’s take a look…

Epoch Collective Hopa Tote BagEpoch Collective Canvas Tote Bag

With its colourful, dreamcatcher-inspired pattern, the Hopa Canvas Tote Bag is bound to attract attention – whether you take it to the beach or down to the shops. Inside, there’s enough space for you to park a car (okay, not literally, but trust us when we say these bags are super roomy) and inside, you’ll find pockets for your essentials, so you’re not having to take everything out of your bag to find your phone or keys. Sure, it’s perfect for the beach (did we mention there’s also a matching round beach towel?) but why not carry this bag with you all through the year? It’ll make every day feel just that little bit more summery.

Sunnylife Lie-On Inflatable CactusSunnylife Lie-On Inflatable Cactus

“Oh, why don’t you just go lie on a cactus” sounds like something you might say to your worst enemy, but if you’re talking about a Sunnylife Lie-On Inflatable Cactus, then you’re actually doing someone an enormous favour. Sunnylife’s inflatable pool toys were such a huge hit at Peter’s last summer that we’re thrilled to be getting them in again! Designed here in Sydney, this cute cactus is perfect for lounging around in the pool. And it’s much more comfortable than the real thing.

Joseph Joseph Elevate Utensil CarouselJoseph Joseph Elevate Utensil Carousel

From the pool to the kitchen? Why not. Things are always a little random here on Friday Favourites. When it comes to quirky, clever kitchen tools, Joseph Joseph is one of our favourite brands…and the Elevate Utensil Carousel is no exception. Not only does this handy spinning carousel house six essential kitchen tools, all in soft, spring-inspired shades – all the tools are designed with weighted handles that, when placed on your kitchen bench, are designed to keep the end of the utensil from touching your bench, so your bench stays clean while you cook. Brilliant brilliant! That’s Joseph Joseph for you.

Squidinki Sydney Plate SetSquidinki Sydney Canapé Plate Set

Celebrate Sydney’s most iconic landmarks with this simply lovely set of plates from Sydney-based artist, Max Mendez. We love everything about Sydney, so naturally, we adore everything about this colourful new collection! Sure, they’re dishwasher safe and would make an attractive addition to any table – but we think they’d look great displayed on your walls or on shelves. They’re also the ideal gift for friends who might live far away, but still call Sydney home.

Queen B Burning Love CandlesQueen B Burning Love Candles

Talking of Sydney, our new range of Queen B candles are proudly made right here in Sydney! Our favourite would have to be this adorable pair of hugging candles. They’re the perfect gift for someone you love – and they’re made by hand from pure beeswax with cotton wicks, so they’re kind to the environment, too!

Enjoyed this week’s Friday Favourites? Great! We’ll be back next week with five more – as well as a new post from our Ten Things We Love About series! Enjoy your weekend…
