Peter’s Friday Favourites

Some people look forward to Fridays because it’s the last day of the working week. Here at Peter’s, we look forward to Fridays because every Friday, we publish a new blog post with our Friday Favourites – our five favourite new products for the week! It’s something we look forward since getting to work on Monday morning. We hope you enjoy our Friday Favourites posts as much as we enjoy putting them together for you!

With introductions out of the way, let’s get started. We’ve got five fantastic new products, just waiting to be revealed. Here they are…

Pillivuyt Teck Entree PlatePillivuyt Teck Entree Plate

The English are famous for crafting beautiful fine china – think Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Royal Albert… But on the other side of the Channel, you’ll find that the French make porcelain that’s just as beautiful, if not equally renowned. If you haven’t heard about Pillivuyt (it’s pronounced “pilli-vwhee”, if you want to sound properly Fraaawnch) it’s one of France’s biggest names when it comes to beautiful porcelain. Pillivuyt is famous for elegant white plates, bowls and more…but the new additions to the Teck collection are completely different. These plates, bowls, mugs and more are a soft shade of light blue, with a pattern of concentric rings that reminds us of the rings you might find inside a tree (“teck” is French for “teak”, after all). Branch out and take a look at the whole range…which is also available in classic Pillivuyt white, naturellement.

Milk and Sugar Atticus LampMilk and Sugar Atticus Lamp

We’re whopping great big fans of Melbourne design studio, Milk & Sugar, so our eyes lit up (pun intended) when we found out we’d be stocking a range of drop-dead stunning Milk & Sugar lamps! Our favourite is the Atticus Lamp – with its distinctive angular looks and brushed brass shade that can be angled to suit you. It’d make a great addition to your desk, your bedside table, your lounge room…all of the above…

Ecoya Mimosa and Green Apple CandleEcoya Mimosa and Green Apple Soy Candle

It’s a pity we can’t upload smells to the Peter’s Blog for you to try, because we think once you’ve experienced the amazing scent of this new fragrance from Sydney’s own Ecoya, you’ll want to fill your whole home with it. This candle is housed in a simple, white glass jar. Open the lid and let the scent of green apple, peach, jasmine and rosewood work its subtle magic over your senses. Light the candle, and the spell will be complete. This is a special limited edition fragrance from Ecoya, so make sure you stock up…

Cristina Re Crystalline Teacup and Saucer SetCristina Re Crystalline Teacup and Saucer Set

Hmm. A third Australian company in a row? Are we sensing a pattern here? This exquisite new tableware collection from Cristina Re has been making waves on our Facebook page this week – and we couldn’t resist adding it to our Friday Favourites post too. Each piece is hand painted with touches of 24-karat gold for a precious, crystalline finish that’s utterly jaw-dropping. We’re quite partial to dramatic black – but there’s also a soft shade of pink available, as well as classic white. Go and take a look at the entire range. And be quick, because this is (also!) a limited edition collection, and despite its timeless appearance, it won’t stick around forever.

Crabtree and Evelyn Goatmilk Shower MilkCrabtree and Evelyn Goatmilk Shower Milk

Your skin’s in for a treat, thanks to the latest addition to the Crabtree and Evelyn range. Introducing Goatmilk – a soothing, gently-scented collection that’s ideal for those with sensitive skin. Loaded with all the things your skin craves – like shea butter and vitamin E, as well as nutrient-rich, free-range goat’s milk – this luxurious, soap-free range will have your skin glowing in no time. We love the Shower Milk, but with so many different products to choose from in the range, Goatmilk has everything you need to revive your skin.
