It’s Friday – which means only one thing here at Peter’s. Actually, it means five things. It’s time to reveal our five Friday Favourites!
If you’re a regular here, you’ll know the drill. Every Friday on the Peter’s blog, we share our five favourite new arrivals for the week. They’re the products we love so much, we can’t help but rave about them a little more.
As a famous philosopher once said “don’t bore us, get to the chorus” (actually, this might have been Roxette) – so let’s get on with it and reveal our Friday Favourites for this week…
So, you thought the English were famous for their love of tea? Hop over to the other side of the Channel and you’ll find the French are rather partial to the odd cup of tea as well – and they even make stunning teapots to help enjoy it in typically French style! New to Peter’s, Guy Degrenne teapots are made in France – crafted from shiny French porcelain with a stainless steel jacket that keeps your tea nice and warm for longer. The ultimate teapot? We think so…
We’re sticking with the tea theme for a moment – and hopping back over the Channel. Designed in London and crafted in Stoke-on-Trent, England, Melody Rose’s distinctive bone china dinnerware is a little bit traditional, a little bit rock and roll. Take this teacup and saucer for instance. It combines very prim and proper shape, genuine gold detailing – and a skull wearing a crown. If you love this teacup, you’ll adore Melody Rose. It’s the perfect blend of pretty and punk.
Crabtree and Evelyn has discovered the scent of Christmas – and turned it into a range of irresistible candles, fragrance diffusers and more. Noël is an enticing blend of spices, zesty citrus, pine needles and juniper berries and it’s set to become the scent you associate with Christmas – not just this year, but every year from now on. And even better – there’s a whole range waiting to be discovered!
We love this transparent pen because it reminds us of a crystal. It’s just as pretty and just as timeless. Kaweco pens, made in Germany, are new to Peter’s of Kensington. They’re so distinctive – and they’re also presented in a cute Kaweco tin that’s perfect for Christmas stockings. Hint hint, Santa.
We started this week’s Friday Favourites in France, and we’re finishing here too. Meet L’Occitane’s glorious new scent – Arlésienne. Just like all things L’Occitane, it’s utterly heavenly. Inspired by the rural south of France, Arlésienne is a simple, enchanting blend of sweet violet, saffron and rose that will leave your senses soaring. And better still, it’s available as hand cream, body milk and more. We’re obsessed with this new fragrance here at Peter’s. We think you’ll love it too.
Thanks for reading this week’s Friday Favourites! We hope you love these products just as much as we do. We’ll see you next week with a heap of new posts – including the next part of our Christmas Gift Guide!
