Israeli-born chef. Michael Rantissi creates exciting dishes at his two restaurants, the Kepos Street Kitchen and Kepos & Co. He trained at the highly regarded Culinary Arts Academy in Paris before starting work at London’s fabled two Michelin star, Sugar Club.
Michael's first Sydney restaurant, Kepos Street Kitchen burst into the dining scene in 2012 and since then has won numerous accolades for his `Med’ cuisine with a Middle Eastern twist, which pay homage to his heritage. His second establishment Kepos & Co, opened in 2015 to more critical acclaim.
Back by popular demand, Michael Rantissi will be appearing at Peter's Of Kensington on August 10 where he will be preparing Burrata, Radish & Chive Salad; Beetroot Salmon Salad; Falafel; Spinach & Pine Nuts Rolls and sumptuous Chocolate Halva Brownies. In short, everything you need to entertain like a superstar this spring.
Join us on the 10th of August from 11am until 1pm, as Michael Rantissi cooks just for us. Tickets for this event are $25 and each attendee will receive a signed copy of one of Michael’s brilliant cook books Falafel For Breakfast, and most importantly, learn how to create an exotic spread in hardly any time at all. The morning will include a book signing with his other cook book, Hummus & Co, available for purchase.
